- Never trust a second hand car dealer ?????? My experience as yet-

We all hear and know the horror stories of the cheating car salesman, many had bad experiences.

Objectively, not one dealer, not one shop I visited had a bad or a snobbish attitude. No one looked down on us because we don’t want to spend much. All had the patience to go through many cars even at hottest weather.

I remember the day at GENIUS OUTLOOK and spending five hours melting in the hot sun.

Everyone let us test with our Ultrasound and everyone let us test drive. The dealers went with us to workshops to measure the gear box (again Genius Outlook). We discussed the result, in case of the Kia Optima ,Genius Outlook agreed on so many little things to do to make this a good experience.

There were cars we didn’t measure, there were cars with bad results or so so results. No dealer tried to force us into a deal, no dealer tried a “yao bu yao” style of selling.

The dealers are better than the reputation. I never left angry or frustrated.

We as customers have tools to make the decision safer: who would expect a Camry 2003 or any of this cars in such good quality. Ultrasound can help to reassure the quality and your decision making.

There is no rule a more expensive or newer car has higher quality. I have measured many high price cars with very bad marks. The maintenance of the vehicle is as important as the product quality.

So work with the dealers, know your budget, know what you need and want, test the quality (you can always ask for our service too), don’t buy without test drive.

The dealers in Johor Bahru I met, were good. So give them a chance.

The dealers were from these shops:

Genius Outlook, ET Car World, Mr. Car Motor, Success Motorsport, Agent Jepun Te

Really all great guys I met there.
